Education Outreach

Our whole family is passionate about STEM (and STEAM), and Sebastian is no exception! Below is a list of places where he has shared the love:

Elementary STEM CON 2020 - April 2020 - we shared how math, 3D thinking, and origami inspired OctoGifts.

Kingsley Montessori School (Boston, MA) alumni spotlight. Sebastian dishes on what he's working on, the Montessori experience, and what he never leaves home without!

Served as an entrepreneurship panelist at the 2019 UNCF/MantisEdu STEM Summer camp at Clark Atlanta University. He had a blast sharing his experiences with Atlanta Public School middle schoolers! In this three minute clip he discusses OctoGifts, math, origami, and the engineering design process. Marvel fans will enjoy the Wolverine claw demo at 2:05 into the video! Explaining to Girl Scouts how he uses geometry and spatial thinking to design machines, December 2019. This dovetails well with their new STEM badge program! (Photo credit: Janis Steinbrenner)
